RoFa Art Gallery promotes artistic production with an abstract and conceptual orientation. Mainly artists interested in the artistic discourse associated with the different visions of the sociopolitical processes that we live throughout the world and who understand the importance of global thinking.
We have a special penchant for artists who seek to express themselves beyond the classical formats and media of art.
RoFa Art Gallery opened their activity in the United States in 2014, although their founder has directed galleries and art foundations in various countries such as Venezuela and Brazil.
Gabriela Rosso is a Venezuelan psychologist, involved in the art world for more than 20 years.
Previously, as director of the Daniela Chappard Foundation and curator of the foundation's art gallery and the organization, she was responsible for various painting, sculpture, and photography auctions to support the foundation's work in HIV / AIDS prevention. As Director of “Por Amor a Arte, Por Amor a Vida” in Brazil, she organized art auctions to finance private initiatives to support the fight against HIV / AIDS and violence against women.
She is currently in charge of RoFa Projects, which is a contemporary art gallery with an emphasis on Latin America and specializes in art with socio-political content.
Gabriela also directs RoFa Art which works with abstraction and geometry and La Morada which focuses on themes of women and the environment.
She is also a visiting curator at George Mason University.
In addition, she is the co-founder and co-director of Art Focus Latin America, which is the first collective of art galleries in the Americas and its focus is (as the name says) Latin America.
Art Focus is a pioneer as a project for the integration of galleries in the Americas and was created as an opportunity to improve practices and the desire to expand actions beyond the territory where each of the galleries operates.
