Artists are invited to Explore and Respond to the meaning of Eco - Activism. Understanding that this is a broad topic we challenge you to make a statement with your art to respond to what it means to be environmentally active.
Eligibility: The exhibition is open to all artists who are at least 21 years of age and reside in the Kentlands Neighborhood (Gaithersburg MD).

Application Requirements:
The proposal must be original and must include the conceptual support, which must not exceed 500 words. You may send up to five (5) pieces for consideration.
Priority will be given to proposals that develop a critical aesthetic discourse.
All must be available for display during the August 2023 - October 2023 time period.
Artists must submit a digital application package to rofabeta.gallery@gmail.com including the following:
Resume Tab (All One Document) - Recent Resume/CV and brief artists’ statement (200 words max).
Portfolio.
Image detail sheet with one thumbnail view of each piece submitted, that includes a title, date completed, dimensions and the media in which the art work(s) were fabricated. Max 27 inch wide
Please provide a phone number, email address and Kentlands home address.
Entries must be submitted by 5 pm on June 30, 2023.
Selection Information:
The committee is seeking original art works in any media suitable for the gallery space and that meets the Eco activism subject.
Installation: Selected artists are responsible for transportation of their work to and from the site.
Purchases: We will make best efforts to promote the artists’ work to potential buyers. Purchased art works will be available for pick-up at the end of the exhibition. In case of sale, artists shall be payed a fee of fifty percent (50%) of any sale that occurs while the artwork is on exhibit.
