Ramiro Chavez
Ramiro Chaves (b. 1979, Cordoba, Argentina) had his first individual exhibition, Proyecto CANADA, at Mexico City's Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil in 2006 and since then has exhibited his work in the XI Biennial of Photography at Centro de la Imagen, the Museo de Arte Moderno, MUCA Roma, and the Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City, Palacio de Bellas Artes as well as various galleries and museums across France, the United States, Holland, Austria, Germany, Argentina, and Japan.
He was a 2013 resident artist in the International Studio and Curatorial Program in Brooklyn, New York with the generous support of FONCA in Mexico and is also a selected artist for the prestigious Bancomer-MACG Program 2012-2014 in Mexico City.
His work is part of the Isabel and Agustin Coppel Collection as well as those of the Museo de Arte Moderno and the Centro de la Imagen in Mexico City, plus a number of private collections worldwide.
